Strong Commitments from Political and Civic Leaders

Local political and civic leaders have already begun their efforts towards bringing the goals of LIFT New Orleans to fruition. They have formed a local task force and are instituting policies and programs to spur downtown development, neighborhood revitalization, economic rejuvenation and improved quality of life and image for the New Orleans area. These efforts must be strengthened and sustained.
